| Natan, Italian, official label-DJ, compiler, producer by Inpsyde Media ( Italy), label-dj by Parvati Rec. (Denmark), founder and general manager of Wirikuta Distribution Austria, mastermind of the famous/infamous austrian trance group Mystery World Squad, events organizer. Natan has been a music lover and records collector since his early years, still at school he started to buy vinyls, tapes and bottlegs at every given possibility. His musical influences are a tasty cocktail of american psychedelic acid rock from the sixtees, american punk rock from the seventies, hard punk-speed-death-metal stuff from the eighties till today, new wave of british progressive rock, industrial & gothic. In the eighties his first experiences as a dj began at home parties spinning rock, punk and metal. In 1990 he discovered acid house, techno and the Amsterdam rave scene. Later he began to play as a dj at free parties or for friends in Italy. His music at this time was intelligent techno hardcore from Amsterdam and breakbeats from England. By late 1995 a new darker & harder edge creeped into trance music, more psychedelic and with some industrial influences. Natan founded Mystery World and began to organize parties in Austria. His style became strong full psychedelic trance between 140 and 149 bpm. His sets became a good beatmatched mix of vinyl, cds & DATs up to 8 hours of released and unreleased psychedelic power tunes. As international artist he had the pleasure different times to act professionally as interface between the music and the people in the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Portugal, Russian Federation, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, U.S.A., at the Boom festival 2002 and 2006 editions, at the "Mystery of Eleusis" - Hommage for Albert Hoffman, the 60th Anniversary party in Switzerland, at the How Weird Street Faire in San Francisco and different times as headliner inside the Natraj Temple in Munich to name some nice gigs. Natan's music is now hard powerful underground psytrance for acidheads, mostly dark and uncompromising, as his interpretation of the way the most human beings are feeling nowadays. Described as a kicking chaotic jamming music machine Natan is delivering strong sets quite far away from the tipical commercial forms of psychedelic trance. Djing all around the world whilst continuing to do a regular residency at Mystery World, he has recently formed his own label known as "Wirikuta Recordings" together with his partner in crime Martin Ridler aka Dj Bonzo. As organizer he has had the pleasure & honour beside the psychedelic trance scene to promote in Austria events with great artists like Goldie, Grooverider, Peshay, Doc Scott, Alley Cat, Dub Syndicate, Misty in Roots, Bim Sherman, Gondwana, Zion Train, Suns of Arqa just to name a few. | |||
